When it's cold outside, the fog freezes on surfaces in a thin layer of ice. It whitens leaves, cobwebs, branches and cars... in Veneto we call it "sisàra". It protects things in the silent hibernation of winter. It prepares them for the awakening of spring, for returning to life.
