Sasaki is an interdisciplinary design studio which brings together the best of landscape architecture, planning, urban design, architecture, interior design, civil engineering, graphic design, place branding, and data science to shape the public realm. When Hideo Sasaki founded the firm in 1953, he sought to foster a collaborative process unprecedented in the design profession. Over sixty years later, Sasaki continues to refine and redefine this design approach.

Today, we are a diverse practice of 300 professionals whose vision and ideas shape the structure and organization of the firm. Collaboration is at the core of what we do. We see it not as just a working style, but as one of the fundamentals of innovation. Our design is a process, not just an outcome. We conceive of sustainability in its multiple forms – environmental, societal, and economic – and believe that our clients are best served by built environments that respect, advance, and preserve all three.
