Noly Charles is a Nigerian Afro-Indigenous Highlife musician and musicologist blending traditional Igbo sounds with modern Afro-fusion. A composer, songwriter, and music conductor, Noly creates music rooted in cultural identity, empowerment, and self-love.
His debut single “ADAUGO” is a bold tribute to Nigerian heritage, fusing traditional Igbo instruments like Ubo-Aka (Igbo thumb piano) and Okpokolo with contemporary Western production. The result is a rich, soulful Highlife sound that feels both timeless and modern.
A skilled multi-instrumentalist, Noly plays the guitar, keyboard, and the Uboaka, shaping a sound influenced by artists such as Chike, Ugoccie, Timi Dakolo, and Osita Osadebe.
