Based at Chitkara University Punjab (India), Chitkara Spaak Centre for Multidisciplinary European Studies is an academic centre promoting excellence in the people-to-people EU-India relations. The Spaak Centre supports Indian and European academic and societal actors willing to cooperate in different fields, having the final goal to imagine solutions for global issues. The centre develops academic courses in the field of EU studies, launches international capacity-building projects, and runs interdisciplinary research activities in the field of advanced international relations.
The vision of Chitkara University is to become a globally recognized organization promoting academic excellence through interdisciplinary applied research and innovation. In South Asia, Chitkara University is among the few universities selected by the European Commission to run innovative cross-border academic activities in the field of capacity building and European Union studies.
