In Islamic theology, the Other World (Dosra Jahan ) (Arabic: الآخرة or Al-Ākhirah) refers to the life after death, which is considered an essential belief in Islam. It is the eternal existence that follows the temporal life on Earth. The concept of the Other World is a significant part of Islamic eschatology and is discussed in the Qur'an, Hadith (sayings of the Prophet Muhammad), and the works of Islamic scholars
