DISCLAIMER....I am merely posting ideas using different Guitars/Amps/Effects for people to consider for that "Edge Tone". Whether I play or don't play note for note like The Edge (or even scratch my left testicle the same way as The Edge) is irrelevant.

You don't need 6 or more Amps and a 42U rig that can power a NASA Space Program to get that Edge Tone IMHO. That's the beauty of it. Just have fun playing!!!
