Welcome to the Central Idaho Mountain Weather channel. I'm a professional mountain guide from Hailey, Idaho. I want to bring a personalized forecast that focuses on our area and what to expect if you are going to play in the mountains.
On this channel, I will cover all types of weather found in the central mountains of Idaho, including the Soldier, Smoky, Boulder, Pioneer, Sawtooth, White Cloud, and Lost River Range.
In the summer, I will focus on flooding, rainfall, and thunderstorms. During the winter, I will focus on how much snow we will likely see in the mountains. I will run you through the SNOTEL sites on where the snow fell and how much moisture was in it.
