세계적인 건축가 안도 타다오가 설계한 본태박물관은 대리석을 연상케하는 건축가 고유의 노출콘크리트와 건축요소로 차용된 빛과 물이 조화롭게 어우러진 안도타다오 건축의 뛰어난 수준을 보여줍니다.
본태박물관은 한국 전통공예의 새로운 미래가치를 탐색하고, 현대와 소통하여 전통문화의 아름다움을 세계인들과 나누고자 합니다.
bonte museum was founded in 2012 on Jeju Island that aims to explore the common beauty of humankind through examining Korea's traditional and contemporary craft objects.
A world-renowned architect, Tadao Ando, designed the museum, and it is considered as another masterwork of his that incorporates light and water in the architectural elements including the exposed concrete structure that is reminiscent of marble.
