Arts education enterprise founded by SPIN El Poeta. Our primary medium is Spoken Word. We focus on building Immigrant Indigenous Friendship and Building up racialized youth who are gifted because their voices matter! .
We also operate the One Mic Educators collective coordinated by Glowz, Amani Arts and SPIN El Poeta. We are a dynamic multi-disciplinary arts education collective deeply rooted in the cultural fabric of Ontario. Our work is driven by a mandate to cultivate artistic expression and community empowerment, with a particular focus on amplifying the voices and narratives of Indigenous, Black, and Latin American artists.
Between both entities we have produced the LA Raza Open Mic Series, LA Raza Festival, The Human In Us All exhibit, Immigrant Indigenous Friendship Poem and the LA Raza BIPOC Access Podcast series and Artist Development Project.
Check us out and join the movement!
