Sunday night & last night were my first trips back to the Underworld since Merle Dandridge & Daniel Breaker‘s extraordinary last show back in June.
These 5 brilliant principles: Morgan Dudley, Kurt Elling, Rebecca Jones, Paulo Szot, & Jack Wolfe are the first since the OGs to learn the show together & come in together. It’s a privilege & a deep pleasure to witness their superlative world building & storytelling. Also grateful I got to catch Eddie N. Rodríguez Hades on Sunday & Sydney Parra's‘s Eurydice last night. Fabulous All!

I am elated & honoured to be back but also feeling mournful for them & for the whole company that my arrival heralds their first family separation since they began rehearsals together. I remember how devastated I was when my beloved first cast mates Phillip Boykin, Maia Reficco, & Jordan Fisher left 10 weeks into my 15 week #broadwaydebut - whilst simultaneously being so fortunate & happy to get to learn a new version of the show w/ Tom Hewitt, Hailey Kilgore & #carlosvaldes

Rebecca Naomi Jones is a radiant, unforgettable, magnetic Goddess Queen Persephone & this is your last week to see her — & see them all together. Don’t miss it.

Each artist who embodies these characters & comes through this show leaves a little bit of their DNA & magic behind. It is mythic & miraculous to me.

‪@AhyaSimone‬ and I get to play our harp/banjo interpretation of Eternal Iconic Transcestor @jackieshane_official ‘s hit “Any Other Way” ( penned by the great and still giving us so many gifts @williambellmusic ) live together again this December 6th in NYC for a TRANSA extravaganza at @powerhouse_arts.

I am so proud to be a part of this ongoing growing transcendent, expansive multi-brilliant-artist project brought to the World by @redhotorg and the Divine @sade.
We had an absolutely incandescent night @thegetty in LA back in September, this night will be our Eastern Offering - so much looking forward to the creative communion as I return to NYC for my next @hadestown run.

Thank you beloved brother Orville Peck for inviting us along to your fabulous party, your 7th Annual Orville Peck's Radio at Pappy & Harriet's in Joshua Tree. We had the best time!

You and your team were heroic through the Atmospheric River and the changes and made us all feel like chosen family. Such a joy singing #chemicalsunset with you & your brilliant band, Orville! 

Daddy G aka Ganessa James & me played our first ever duo set & we had our last band supper for the year with Caoimhe Hopkinson, Ross Collier, & Tracy & Sarah on the night of the Deluge. 

It was a beautiful week in California with our Concord, Fantasy and CAA families planning for 2026 — special thanks to my generous, beloved music publisher Tom DeSavia & his rescue pup Emmylou for taking in JT & me giving us a home in LA. 
We have a lot of new art & shows to share with y’all soon.

This week we celebrated the crucial coalition work being done by Civic Tennessee & 39 grassroots organizations who are leading the charge for change in our state. City Winery Nashville was filled with civic leaders, organizers & allies. HOPE in action — there is joyful resistance to tyranny and goods things afoot for democracy here in Tennessee. 
Thank you to everyone who performed &  everyone who bought a ticket. We have so much work to do but it feels galvanizing  to know there are so many of us in this together.
