The Hybrid Protocol
Today is a busy day with my kids and I won't be able to film/edit/publish day 3 on my water fast, but here is the status:
The day has been easy, now in full ketosis and with enough energy for a busy day at work and with my kids.
The restless legs last night was way less, with no micro feeding needed (buffer), thus it was a full fasting day.
Today I prep a lot of food for the little ones, and the cravings were there, but not too bad.
One thing I will try in my next fast is to enter into ketosis before the fast by eating my MBR calories (~1750 kcal) via fat (grains and seeds) and 21 grams of carbs, to make it easier get into the fast. Also I will try maybe in the next cycle the fasting mimicking diet from Dr. Longo, I will buy his food kit and I will share it with you so all of us can learn how good is it.

The Hybrid Protocol
After breaking the fast yesterday, I’m still loosing weight and fat. The expectation is for the next 10 days I will regain 2% of body fat and 5-10 lb of weight, but it is glucose, glycogen, intestinal material, gut bacteria
, but not fat (excluding the 2% gain). This won’t be a rebound, it’s filling up your body with new fuel and then after 10 more days of hormonal rebalancing, the weight will continue to drop with diet and exercise. Your body now it’s fully optimized for it!
