Ever since I started writing my own comic book, I’ve fallen in love with discovering other independent projects like this one.
If you guys enjoyed Alfredo's art in my comic, “Oldhead”, then you should check out Last Bastion Studios “Tokyo Jaguar” available now on kickstarter. Writer/creator Wes Allard and Alfredo worked very closely to bring the tale of King Jaguar, a mysterious Luchador, and his Tokyo assignment to life and in vivid color. Kaia Yajima, Yakuza Princess, knew she was walking into a trap. Forced to lead a negotiation between two rival factions attempting to gobble up her family territory, blood is bound to spill and she's not interested in any of it being hers. In order to get out of this deadly meeting alive, she was going to need a protector. She was going to need the best. She was going to need King Jaguar.
Enter King Jaguar, a man of mysterious and extraordinary power and will. When the negotiations go bad, he'll need every bit of it to survive this band of killers and complete his assignment. Oh yeah, and . . . . Yakuza. Lots of Yakuza.

What would you have done differently? Backstory: 12 years ago, I surprised my friend Clint (blue shirt) by grabbing him with a Muay Thai clinch and gave him 10 seconds to escape. He tried pushing my hips away, cross-facing, punching me in the head — no success.
My next video explores why most people DKSATC (don’t know… about the clinch). And how anyone who uses in a street defense situation is probably an absolute MONSTER. That drops on 7/30, but is available NOW for channel members!

I had a proud moment just now, while leaving the post office after sending out a big batch of packages out to those who supported the creation of my comic book: Oldhead. To pull this story from my imagination, hold it in my hands, and then ship it out to people around the world is really very cool. Thank you all so much for bringing this thing to life.

I had a lot of fun with sound design for my comic read through, recording things like: slamming 120lbs. dummies, sliding cinder blocks, smacking celery against a tree, and even got my brother to record a song for this video. It came out great; honestly very scary and intense at times (intended for mature audiences!!!)
