Micky Rich(ミッキーリッチ)
東京下町生まれ。カリブ海の音楽であるREGGAE(レゲエ)、DANCEHALL REGGAE(ダンスホールレゲエ)、SOCA(ソカ)のリズムにキャッチーなメロディをの乗せて老若男女の心を掴んで躍らす、実力派アーティスト。
「自分の身の回り半径50メートル以内の出来事」を歌うのが特徴。数年間の東京のクラブミュージックシーンでの活動を経て、2003年に「WINE YEAH」で一気にブレイクし、全国で認知されるアーティストとなる。
2021年拠点を沖縄に移し現地アーティストU-douとのユニット “ChampuruRumble“(チャンプルランブル)として2023年楽曲を配信開始。
ジャンルと世代、土地も国籍も越えて共感出来るメッセージと心と体と魂が踊りだしたくなるメロディーから生まれる“彼だけにしか出来ない音楽”は成長し続けている
Micky Rich, known as an artist who skillfully flows his groovy melody and Japanese lyrics onto wide range of music, from Hip Hop, R&B to Caribbean region's popular music such as Reggae, Soca, Island Pops etc.
After spending few years performing in Tokyo's club music scene, a single out from Bacchanal 45 Label ”WINE YEAH” became a smash hit in 2003, and his popularity grew nationwide.
