Uday Foundation is an NGO that was founded to spread smiles in the lives of abandoned, less privileged, old and elderly people. We are a Mumbai-based organization that donates food and groceries and raises funds for the maintenance of old-age homes across the city. We regularly conduct fun programs in these old-age homes, so that the elderly forget their woes and smile with us.
During the lockdown, we initiated Roti De, a monthly activity to feed the worthy. We raise funds to conduct food donation drives in old age homes, retirement facilities, orphanages, Gurudwara langar's and from whichever place we receive an intimation or request. The volunteers at Uday Foundation celebrate the 15th of every month as Roti Day.
Named after Late Uday K Shetty, a resident of Andheri, Mumbai, Uday Foundation strives to create a beautiful world for the old children; that’s what Uday loved to called them.
