From Germany, DARK BLONDE – The Sound of Cinema, creates cinematic Dark Pop where shadow and light fall in love. In collaboration with producer Andreas Bruhn (ex–The Sisters of Mercy), she crafts dark, hypnotic soundscapes made for stories yet to be told.

Behind DARK BLONDE is Birgit Fischer, a German singer, songwriter, and producer trained in Hamburg and New York. She first gained recognition as the frontwoman of Motorsheep, winning the John Lennon Talent Award in 1997.

As DARK BLONDE, she explores themes of transformation and survival, shaped by her experience as a cancer survivor. Her sound blends art pop, ambient ballads, and darkwave, creating a deeply emotional and cinematic journey. She has released multiple collaborations and participated in creative residencies, including Real World Studios (UK).
