Earlier this month, I was lucky enough to be a Producer on Sims' 25th Anniversary Livestream. That's right, we streamed for 25 hours. Fortunately, I was on the floor for the day shift, but we all started getting slap happy towards the end.
Some of the highlights include meeting and working with Latto! Chatting with Doja Cat on discord as we waited for her segment! Getting to work with the fabulous hosts who spearheaded the entire show!
TBH, I haven't played SIMS since college, but this experience made me to redownload and lose hours to the game. One of my favorite parts of being apart of this show was hearing about the messy storylines people create in the game. Tell me about the mini soap operas y'all create for yourself, if you play. That sh*t cracks me UP!
I've decided I am going to start treating my community tab like Instagram Stories.
Here's the thing, I am here. I am still lurking around on YouTube like a little gremlin. I've even made a video! But! I refuse to post it because it's not good enough (IMO). But I am still here. I still love my YouTube community, and I still want to maintain my relationship with y'all.
So! I am going to post some personal pics here and tell you about it.
Patrick and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary together on Jan 8th. Unfortunately, that was the day that Los Angeles was experiencing our intense wildfires, so we completely forgot about our "special day." But we got to go up the mountains last weekend with some close friends, and it was magical.

I've seen your comments on my TikTok, IG, and YouTube shorts. Some of y'all want me to make long form videos again, and let me tell you - I want to get back into it too! But the past 18 months have been A LOT.
First of all, I'm used to being constantly employed. If I wasn't Producing/Directing a project with some of the companies I love and usually work for, I was working with brands on their marketing strategies, and developing their online presence. But, as I'm sure some of you know, Hollywood and Tech has taken a huge DIP in business recently, and because of that, I've had make my living with a lot of small gigs here and there.
"BUT DEVIN, WHY DON'T YOU YOUTUBE FOR A LIVING?"
After much soul searching, I've discovered that I prefer to work with others. Making YouTube videos while I was also collaborating on other projects was *perfect,* because I got my fill of other people from my 9-5 job, and then I got to run off and make silly content by myself. Being a full time YouTuber can be very lonely, and whenever I immerse myself in that lifestyle, I end up getting really sad!
But I really do miss this corner of the internet! And as I continue to write scripts for videos and get myself organized, I know I'll come back to longer videos one day.
Until then, I am going to be posting on shorts and on the community tab a lot, because I miss y'all.
In the past year and a half, we adopted a puppy and got married, so in the spirit of keeping you all updated, here are some CUTE PICS from the wedding.

Right now I am working on some larger project (for DBB and for my day job as a Producer) that are simply eating up all my time. While I wade through my responsibilities, I will be posting updates and silly stuff via YouTube Shorts for the next couple weeks.
I really appreciate this community supporting Derek and I through our posting highs and lows. You truly are the best audience an internet creator can ask for!
