Cause was an Alternative Pop/Chamber Pop band hailing from Bogor, West Java, Indonesia. Formed in 2008, Randi Asra Dahnial, Dely Tambunan, Ryan Rifkianda, Edu Christanto, and Dito Buditrianto deliver an irresistible pop music and noted for Randi distinctive vocals. Many of their lyrics are twisting on the daily life, love, family, parenthood, and friendship. Several songs also deal with the more usual pop-song issues of romance in relationships, but in a contemplative and easy-to-relate-to way. The band has released two albums, plus a mini album, one maxi-single, and one posthumous compilation album.
Cause called time on their career in 2017 and decided to split up to pursue separate creative endeavors. Their final performance was held at Borneo Beerhouse Jakarta and Pelataran Parkir RRI Bogor. They release a final maxi-single "A Tale Of Lonely Man" on cassette tapes in RRI gigs and sold out within hours. - 88
