Michael Kircher is an American photographer based in the Washington, DC region. His photographs document his fascination for the natural world and humanity’s place in it. He has been published in National Parks, Granta and Maryland Life magazines, and his photographic essays have appeared in the online publications BurnMagazine.org and American-Journal.com. His images have also appeared in numerous non-profit and corporate publications. His love of photography and exploration come together in his book Potomac River Gorge.
