Average ASMR
Hello everyone! Welcome to my channel and a huge thank you for checking out my page! :)
About the channel: I post a new video every Thursday. All of my videos are ASMR, and I try to mix it up between whisper and non-speaking vids. I do take ASMR requests, and I always love hearing from my viewers in the comments section. :)
I get a lot of questions about why I chose the name "Average ASMR" and it's basically a silent (hehe) form of protest against the studio-esque quality that ASMR has acquired over the years. My favorite things about old-school ASMR were the raw, unintentional aspects of it, so my channel is an attempt to bring some of that back to YouTube. When every sound is so perfectly calibrated the kind of accidental quality of ASMR gets lost, so it’s my goal to bring back the more average, unfiltered sounds. Hopefully I'm not the only one who missed the "average" raw, unedited, everyday kind of sounds. :)
