Daniel Emond is a multidisciplinary songwriter/composer creating out of New York. In addition to his work on his Musical KILL THE WHALE: A Musical Odyssey of Moby-Dick (killthewhaleofficial.com), for which he is currently recording a concept album feat. Broadway singers, He has composed and music-directed for several works, including a new folk musical play DAWN, and his brand new piece of concept-music dream theatre, SUCH CURIOUS THINGS. Daniel plays in three bands, including the popgrass indie-folk trio The Blue Eyed Bettys (www.blueeyedbettys.com), with whom he has performed with the Grammy-winning Sam Bush Band and co-composed music for and performed in The Peppercorn Theatre Company's show with bluegrass-picking puppets, The Tourist Trap. He has produced albums as a solo-artist (www.danielsswelltunes.com), with the Blue Eyed Bettys, and is currently recording his newest solo record, MOUNTAINS OF LIVELY.
