London based 1980s/90s indie band featuring Ron Meerbeek (vocals, lyrics), Stella Venucci aka Vicki Bonet, (vocals, bass, music, lyrics), Martin Wilson (aka Baxter Martin) sax, clarinet, Jeffrey Hildreth (aka Harry Day) guitar, bass, Nick Biddle (production, 12 string guitar), Michael Gallagher (synth, electronics, music, lyrics), Lisa Drummer (from Sheffield on drums), Lisa Dawson-Whisker (vocals - replaced Vicki in the 1989). Band line up varied over the years. Main members were Ron, Vicki, Jeffrey, and Martin. London based members were Brits, Australian, New Zealander, and Canadian. Two Big Boys have a dedicated following, particularly in the LGBTQI scene in London. In the 1980s the Pet Shop Boys we’re in the same bill as Two Big Boys at the Fridge . Vicki’s first band in Australia, the Little Cuties, featured Nick Cave, Rowland Howard and Mick Harvey of the Birthday Party.
