Elemental Magic is the name of Joseph Gilland's two cornerstone animation 'how-to' books about hand-drawn special effects animation, and far beyond. The flowing, intuitive way in which he guides his readers and workshops, leads participants to learn about principles that can be applied to all facets of the animation world, 2D, 3D, creative and technical sides equally. In fact, Joseph's workshops can be applied to all walks of life, as it introduces a new way of seeing how connected we are to the world around us, and how we can interact with it, in a seamless, flowing way.
