Over the last few years Arizona has moved the ball tremendously when it comes to assisting Veterans. We have more resources for mental health, resources for veterans who have been incarcerated, resources for veterans who are homeless and resources to help Veterans get employed. Veteran support has always been at the front and mostly everyone is willing to help in some form.
However, all the great resources mentioned above seam to become non existent at night. When the 5 o’clock hour/weekend hits, resources are mostly closed and Veterans are left to fend for themselves. Several organizations have stated this needs to be fixed and are looking for ways to help solve this problem.
Veterans 5-9 is creating a new approach to bring resources together to help tackle this problem. Veterans 5-9 will partner with various ground level organizations to help accomplish the mission. All of our Partners have a wealth of resources and talented members ready to accomplish the mission.
