Chapter 33 is a pop-punk/alt-rock band from Ottawa-Gatineau, fronted by Jacob Collins, a longtime death metal drummer now stepping up to sing and play guitar. After years in metal and rock cover bands, he launched Chapter 33 to bring the personal songs he’d been writing since high school to life. He played every instrument on the band’s upcoming debut album, which was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Mitchi Dimitrialis, with drum tracking by Jordan Robinson — both of whom still play with him in their current death metal band.

Joining Jacob live are bassist Grayson Holt, another collaborator from his metal background, and guitarist Suleman Dawood and drummer Kalem Sigsworth, both discovered through online musician groups. Together, they blend the energy of Green Day and Blink-182 with Beatles-style harmonies and introspective lyrics.
