A mother-daughter team, established Praya Dance, an Indian classical dance academy in Singapore that uses the ageless art of Kathak to combine passion, heritage, and unity. The name Praya has profound meaning since it echoes the Sanskrit word Praya, which means a spiritual journey forward, and combines the words Pr from Prerna (inspiration) and Aya from Ayanna (grace). Dance, in our opinion at Praya Dance, is more than just movements; each beat is infused with emotion, culture, and memory.
Kathakars.sg is a group of passionate women who get joy and happiness in Dancing..Being successful in their own individual professions, these women came together to form Kathakars where they have embraced Kathak. Art and culture being ingrained in their passion, they perform Kathak with an amalgamation of classic and modern fusion.
