The cult electro-indie band from NYC, created by filmmaker and musican Jesse Hartman, returns with new music, new shows, and a new collaborator: his son, Charlie Hartman.

Known for his cinematic and inventive videos, sharp lyrics, deadpan vocals, and a sound somewhere between Lou Reed, Magnetic Fields, and vintage synth-pop, Laptop toured the world in the early 2000s — then shut down.

Now, after 20 years, the music’s weirder, the band’s bigger, and the story continues.
