Been exploring the brush features of Affinity Photo and got a few more videos upcoming on the brushes / mirror / symmetry / cyclic etc settings. Hope they are of interest. I really wish Affinity Photo would update these features even more with a number of additional options such as an anti-cyclic or wave cyclic etc as well as adding cyclic etc to spacing. Here is another example created from using the brushes all created from a basic curve (and as any curve is a possible brush, literally millions of unique brushes can be created using this approach)

Created lots of videos for Affinity Photo based on gradients. Gradients are super flexible in Affinity Photo and can be used as fills, used in combination with other resources, blended to create near infinite combinations, used with effects and more.

Going to be adding longer videos on subjects such as equations filter https://youtu.be/fthWfAn7AYM as well as on the brushes, pattern designs etc, probably more 1 hour or more and hopefully with a lot of info all the way through the videos instead of doing short videos on one particular subject (I have done 100s and 100s of those and hopefully covering themes in quick and to the point videos). The longer ones will be not so fast paced and hopefully over the course of the video will explain a lot more about the subject. Also intend to do more semi-related shorts as well as doing a few live streams so if anyone has any questions, hopefully I will be able to answer them on there.

youtube.com/playlist?list=PLo... Is now the playlist for all my videos on Photoshop. Instead of putting tons of tutorials on this channel which is now really mainly Affinity related ones, all my Photoshop tutorials are now being only added to this playlist on a different channel. Hardly any views on the channel even though I think the tutorials are pretty reasonable on Photoshop but I was half suspecting that it will be a very slow start to the channel with hopefully more views in a few years or so, the recommendation system is not really geared up to help with those sort of new channel tutorials so I doubt if anyone is even seeing them

Honestly wondering if it is not a bit of a waste of time, however many interesting videos I add that people seem to want (they get 60K etc views on other channels) but on mine, about 3 views at most. I keep wondering if I should just put them back on this channel instead as they maybe seen by a few people !!

Created a tutorial on a wave effect (my latest video as of 5th Jan 2023) for use with Affinity Photo, though the results can be used in Photoshop etc. Zillions of wavy images can be created via the filter itself and the effect can be edited in zillions of ways as well. The result can also be used with other filters such as mirror and deform filter in Affinity Photo and the result can also be faded and blended with the underlying images (which could also be a color wave design).
