He’s growing now…
mustache shadows painting over boyhood,
and I smile while my heart sighs.
You move too fast.
And yet, you’ve given me moments that no picture could hold.
Movie nights. Inside jokes.
Dreams where even my puppies speak.
And love that shows up with muscles and metaphors,
ready to hold my hand.
