Kid Local is a culture and community project that began in 2025 in Surat, India.

We document stories, music sets, and social experiments that explore public life, local identity, and youth culture. Each video is part of an ongoing attempt to reconnect people to their surroundings — whether it’s through a music set on a moving bus, a breakfast rave on the street, or a quiet conversation inside a clinic.

We utilise real locations, music, and artists as integral components of the story. The setting becomes the statement.

While rooted in local contexts, the questions we ask — about belonging, expression, public space, and culture — are global in scope. This project exists to remind people everywhere that where you're from and what you feel has value.
