While energy costs rise, we waste 97% of the energy we make by poor lighting at night. Light pollution is a disease to the planet and to wildlife and to us. Few places in America have any intelligent thinking on this issue, but KUDOS to Borrego Springs and Julian California, with low level lighting ordinances, that have created super cost-efficient, highly effective, and completely safe LOW level lighting that is both Green and allows you to SEE the night sky! Such brilliance, and more need to comprehend this is NOT hard to fix, it only takes comprehension that you CAN fix light pollution, each one of us.
