Letting go of control seems counter intuitive, but I’m writing this to share with you, that it’s the best thing I ever did.
I used to live a very difficult life, constantly looking for relief from the hurt of existence. I tried relationships, money, drugs, crystals, tarot cards, sex, yoga, self-help books, Buddhism…many things to try to find relief. All of it just kept me on a continuous, ever-so-slight decline, until I found myself at absolute rock bottom. I had nothing left to try, I was broken. In a desperate moment I cried out “Jesus help me” and instantly encountered Jesus Christ and His supernatural peace and love. I didn’t grow up with religion. I didn’t find Him in a church. I encountered Jesus alone, when my soul cried out for help, AND HE RESCUED ME. I’m desperate again today, not for myself, but for my brothers and sisters that do not yet know this *actual super-hero* named Jesus
