Genuinely losing my mind right now because I just received my first royalty check of 2025!!!

And the majority of this check is from a beat I produced called ‘hotsauce’ that was played on NPR marketplace and got popular on a few freestyle playlist .

When I produce that beat, it was the middle of the pandemic. I had never produced tracks before ,I mainly had been wrapping and songwriting. there was nowhere to go nothing to do so I went for it and dropped my first beat tape ‘MOODY’

I want to give a big shout out ‪@CurtissKingTV‬ for encouraging me to experiment with production ,to lock in on my flow, to not let other peoples criticisms of my music and art stopped me from putting it out there.

If you have been waiting to do something that is burning your heart burning in your gut on your mind every day please take this as a message to start that thing . HELP YOURSELF !

🎥 Big Announcement!

Shooting the official video with Trippi Nu tomorrow for our new single ,recorded with our guy Ben Kemi 🙌🏾

This is my first official music video shoot in almost 5 years, and it feels like a full-circle moment. Life really be lifin’ (yes, that’s how I’d spell it 😂).

Fun fact: Trippi and I met at Higher Note Open Mic in the SFV/LA area, hosted by the incomparable Sema Philice. This event has become such a community hub for me/us, I truly look forward to it ! Standing ovations, laughter, and all the energy musicians and music lovers need right now.
