Genuinely losing my mind right now because I just received my first royalty check of 2025!!!
And the majority of this check is from a beat I produced called ‘hotsauce’ that was played on NPR marketplace and got popular on a few freestyle playlist .
When I produce that beat, it was the middle of the pandemic. I had never produced tracks before ,I mainly had been wrapping and songwriting. there was nowhere to go nothing to do so I went for it and dropped my first beat tape ‘MOODY’
I want to give a big shout out @CurtissKingTV for encouraging me to experiment with production ,to lock in on my flow, to not let other peoples criticisms of my music and art stopped me from putting it out there.
