Chickens, chickens, more chickens. Ok, so there are turkeys, goats, guineas, ducks, geese and a potbelly pig named Lucy who runs the place. Who would have thought an urban girl like myself, born and raised in the burbs of Chicago could move to the country and raise chickens, and even deliver a goat. I live in a whole other world from where I grew up. I hear gun shots on the front porch and the occasional banjo. I am here to help you to start your own flock. It's not so hard. I will be going over feeding tips, grooming, care, and sometimes just hanging out with the crew. Do you have pet turkeys who come to your patio door for grapes? I can show you how. It is a bit of work, but so much fun. before you know it you will be a regular hobby farmer. Some of my animals are rescues, all are pets.
