I'm SO SORRY. Today I slept through our morning live stream about Female Delusions. I think I might have forgotten to reset my alarm clock for Saturday after I moved all our workouts to 10:15 am Pacific. 😁

Guys, stretching is good for you! 🤣🔥💪💯 Support yourself with the Yoga blocks, bolsters, a big Pilates ball and start very slowly. Keep breathing at all times, do NOT force it! The more supported you are, the more relaxed you are, the deeper the stretch. Stay consistent. 🤩

Do NOT do cold stretches, they can injure & tense your body. Ideally you'll be stretching throughout the workout. Also cross-train. I teach low impact (SAFE!) formats: Barre, FlexiBar, different Yoga styles, Pilates, Latin/Belly dance fusion. Join us 5 times a week on my YT. 💪🔥

I usually do a triangle stretch & runner's lunge together before getting into a deeper quad stretch & split. Also, don't hold your breath, breathe continuously & it's better to under stretch than overstretch. Don't underestimate the importance of using Yoga blocks for support. 😉

Do these ones in this order (with the pictures) and then try to get into a split with the support of the Yoga blocks. 😉
1) try to keep the back leg as straight as you can
2) start with holding your foot (big toe) with the opposite hand, then switch bands, use a Yoga strap or a resistance band to wrap around your foot for modification, switch bands.Try to roll on your knee (hip in & out) if your knee allows it.
3) you can place a yoga block under your hip for more support. If you are feeling the stretch, stay there. Keep breathing.
4) using Yoga blocks under your wrists slowly gently try to get tintina split. Do NOT force it and back off. Only go to 60% of the stretch, NOT 100%!

I also recommend you to foam roll if you don't have any contraindications to release sore & tight muscles, lactic acid & improve performance. Check this video that summarizes all these recommendations & stay consistent with your fitness practice: 👏💯💪🙏
