Dr. Shanika’s passion for cosmetology and aesthetic medicine was inspired by her mother Ramani Arsecularatne, a veteran in non-invasive cosmetic procedures and a leading beautician in Sri Lanka with over 25 years of experience.
Her aspiration to offer world-class, effective non-invasive skincare – a solution to every form of skin, hair and body concerns- has driven her to travel the work, explore a. study the different types of procedures and equipment, as well as diverse requirements of skin and hair types based on ethnicity.
After her Medical Degree, Shanika continued to specialize in aesthetic medicine and became the youngest Sri Lankan to be qualified as a cosmetologist at the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicines. Shanika followed her dream to establish the Christell Skin Clinic in Colombo in 2014.
