DJ JEFF DURAN
Barely recognized as an industry trailblazer, Duran continues to surprise his naysayers with the illustrious #25 spot on RANKER.com's esteemed list. By age 13, Duran was broadcasting out of his bedroom with what some insiders consider to be the first podcast ever. Duran landed on the radio by age 18 at stations KFI and KLSX 97.1. Radio opened the door for high profile stand up comedy gigs but Duran eventually faded behind the scenes as a trap DJ and mixtape producer. Duran would also go on to create legendary mixtapes for the likes of Playboi Carti, Future, Young Thug and Offset.
