The Maravelí is a journey through the senses, where oral literature, music and the performing and visual arts embark on an immersive experience that revives the imagination and sensitivity of the public, The recital unfolds with the magic of traditional storytelling that pays tribute to the mixture and miscegenation of Iberian, African and Native American cultures, created during the colonization of Latin America. These narratives are accompanied and supported by a soundscape generated from the classical guitar, modified by electronics and extended techniques of the instrument, developing the music into programmatic musical pieces. The scene is set by the mapping and projection of images and videos that support the stories. This project was born in 2013 as a result of the national creation grant from the District Institute of the Arts of Bogotá - Colombia and the 2014 Circulation and Creation Grant in Paris, French Embassy.
