A Foundation for the Cause
In 1999 Trong and Rani became advocates and a strong voice for the issue of human trafficking and in 2006 Rani and Trong started The Tronie Foundation to help raise awareness about enslavement, the gravest human rights challenge in the world today. Their personal stories give a voice to the most exploited and forgotten individuals of this blight on humankind.
In 2010 a volunteer team of top executives and people of influence from the realms of education, government, law, medicine, communications and entertainment came together to develop a 25 year plan to end slavery. The group developed a strategic plan for the foundation focused on education, prevention and restoration in both developed and developing countries.
