I'm Fia Metta, artist and photographer based in Hamburg.

As a student of literature, I find one of the most inspirational sources is the written word. And for my new fine art photography series "Ovid's Metamorphoses" I plan on turning Ovid's words into pictures... Every photo of mine has always been handmade and I plan on doing so for the Metamorphoses as well; I design and create all costumes, set designs and the props. It will be an immense undertaking and a long journey which will be part of my artistic creation for years to come. And I am so excited to share this journey here with a few impressions of the making of these pictures.
