AnimaNaturalis
Founded in March 2003, AnimaNaturalis is an organization dedicated to establish, disseminate and protect the rights of all animals. The organization works in 7 of the most important Spanish-speaking countries: Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, Mexico and Venezuela.
We believe that animals deserve fundamental rights, such as the right to life, freedom, not to be tortured and not to be considered property. The idea of rights grants protection to beings with interests and animals have at least the interest of procuring states of well-being and avoiding painful states. The use we make of animals in our society violates these interests, since we only take into account how beneficial their use and exploitation can be for us.
