We live in America! We live in a country that boasts freedom. So why, why, why can't we have same-sex marriage?
You don't even realize, I bet. Your family, your friends, your neighbors, your co-workers. You KNOW a gay person. Mm-hm. Now imagine how you just wrecked their life. That's right. YOU. You who voted Yes on 8.
And yet, I see this: The most accepting state toward gay people in the United States of America, is banning gay marriage. My generation is more accepting.
I will fight, my friends will fight, all of the LGBT community and it's heterosexual friends will fight.
WE will fight.
