Mark has graduated from PUP in Bataan as cum laude with the degree of BS in Accountancy. He was elected as President of the Accounting Council when he was still as sophomore and was hailed as the youngest person to hold the position at that time. He passed the licensure examination for the certified public accountant in 2009 and completed his dual master’s degree from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business and Regis University in Colorado, USA in 2017. In 2018, he completed his certification as Certified Management Accountant from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants Australia.
In 2020, Mark has satisfied all the requirements and given the designation of ASEAN Certified Professional Accountant.
In 2021, he had successfully passed the evaluation process of the CPA Australia and had been given an associate designation
Mark also joins the academe as Professorial Lecturer 2 in the College of Accountancy in PUPand as Faculty Member in the College of Business Education in TIP
