The name came to me in a dream so I'm sticking with it :)

My name is Ann-Toya and I was born and raised in Jamaica but for the last 4 years Florida has been my home.

When I was in high school, I wanted to become a chef but as most of us Caribbean folks know, Caribbean parents only saw lawyers, doctors and teachers as true professions so that dream didn't materialize, so here I am, a home cook and personal chef to my husband of 12 years and our 10 year old son.

My channel will showcase a variety of dishes (not only Jamaican) because in my head I think I'm Martha Stewart and I can do it all. LOL. Sometimes you'll get to see my hubby cooking too :)

There will be not scripted audio, just whatever conversations I'm naturally having while cooking, sometimes (most times) in the dialect of my home country.
