Hey! We’re Todd and Mairin - full-time EFL teachers and world wanderers. We took a sabbatical in 2016 after 20+ years in the restaurant industry and haven’t looked back.

After an initial 8 months backpacking and volunteering in SE Asia, we bought a camper van and spent 7 months bouncing around Europe. When our ‘sabbatical’ ended, we trained to teach English abroad, lived in Thailand and Vietnam and are now housesitting around Europe.

We love immersing ourselves in the local culture by staying in places for months at a time and going on regional excursions. Hiking, especially to waterfalls, is one of our favorite things to do. Self- proclaimed history nerds, you will often find us at museums and castles. We also love taking a wander around new cities, popping into mom and pop food joints, cafes, and pubs and keeping an eye out for unique street art!
