Many of us love to read short stories, but these days, while it's fairly easy to find reviews of novels and short story collections, it can be difficult to find someone to talk with about a single story. That's why we're here! The original meaning of boudoir is a “room where a lady may retire to be alone or to receive her intimate friends" – and aren’t the best post-reading experiences like that? While every episode won’t cover all these bases, we do hope to discuss story themes, style, language, context, and our own opinions.
