I've been thinking.
In order to boost views and attract more people to the channel, I thought of animating a short, it will be a sort of Part 1.5 to the on-going "Broken Dream" series. I thought of animating a short fight scene of a Soviet supply convoy coming under Mujahedeen fire. This would not exceed a few minutes in length. What do you think? Would you be interested in such a project? It should be published in maximum of two weeks from now.

Also, I made a new thumbnail for part one, I hope you all like it.

Who doesn't love the feeling of getting this from something that worked just fine for well over two years.
I have no idea what to do about this at this point, I did everything I could and now time will tell the outcome of this mess. I will once again ask everyone that can to support the Patreon page www.patreon.com/juiceglass or donate on the newly established PayPal page: www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=T79XUNFUW7…

Thank you.

In regard to the video, I hope to post the first part today. All work is done and only minimal video editing is to be done. See you all in a bit.

The Soviet RGD-5 fragmentation grenade earned the role of being one of the most iconic explosive devices to be found in the hands of the Communist forces, or many kinds "bad guys" in popular media. First introduced in the early 50s in the USSR, it not only saw large numbers exported to friendly nations, but also copying from other Eastern Block countries and other Socialist nations. Quickly, this grenade found itself in the hands of many people all over the globe, regardless of ideology and motives. This grenade model continues to be produced in the Russian Federation, among other nations, notably China. It's simple yet effective design makes it an affordable, yet effective weapon.

In regard to video announcements, I have decided to further split the video into more parts, there are a couple large chapters that I would like to touch upon in the Afgan War segment alone and I would like the opportunity to actually show them, instead of everything being done in a hurry. I unfortunately cannot afford 20, 30, 40 minutes of animation, YouTube really doesn't like it when you go so long without posting. As such, each part will be a couple minutes long, the first part should come out in a few days. Hopefully you can all understand.
In addition, everyone is very much welcomed to join the Patreon page, I will completely rework it before the new video comes out, even the smallest amount helps, after all, you cannot have a lavish house frame without little wood pegs to hold it all together. See you all in a couple days!!

The Soviet-Afghan conflict saw a wide array of support vehicles. On the Soviet side, everything from BRDM-2 armored cars, the BTR series, BMPs and to the famous T-55 & T-62 were deployed to the fight. The other side however was not in a favorable position to utilize much of a mechanized/motorized combat or even supply force, as such, the Mujahedeen fighters have largely relayed on whatever could be scavenged from neutralized Soviet convoys, civilian truck purchases from Pakistan and very limited donations from the USA. However, their primary fighting force would always remain infantry. What is your favorite vehicle used during the Soviet-Afghan War and why?

As many of you know, the Soviet-Afghan War saw the use of a various arsenal. More often than not, weapons of one side would be turned on their owners by the other side. From Chinese manufactured Type 56's to American-made "Stinger" launchers, this conflict was really a salad of everything available in the world at the time. However, more often than not, the Mujahedeen fighters had to rely on captured Soviet equipment, most notably AKM and AKM-74 rifles.
