ASIF RAZA KHAN In Urdu (آصف رضا خان). He is the son of composer Ghulam Raza Khan(Late) AKA Raza Hamidi who composed Nohay such as ''Girya Kun Ba Ghurbat E Hussain(as)'', ''Allah Ba Ysain Wo Taha Qasam At'. Born in to a family and house of the lovers of Ahlulbait(as) Asif was always keen to take his family name ahead in the field of Noha/Eulogy Manqabat/Nasheed recitation. At a very young age and under the supervision of his father Asif recorded his first studio Noha album in year 2000 and since then has been recording Nohay/Manqabat/Munajat tracks regularly in multiple languages, later he was trained by a professional teacher Ustad Noor Ahmad Khan Sahab(late). Asif is a well known reciter/composer among Shia Muslims around the world. Noha (نوحه) is poetry vocalised melodically in expressing the sorrow felt by Shi’a (شيعہ) Muslims for their leader Prophet Muhammad’s grandson Imam Hussain (امام حُسين) and his family's murders at the Battle of Karbala (کربلا) Iraq in the year 680 CE.
