Martin Avila is the only pianist in the world who can play TOTALLY UNKNOWN SONG REQUESTS ON HIS YOUTUBE AND FACEBOOK LIVESTREAMS....BY PLAYING ALONG WITH THE TUNE ON YOUTUBE/SPOTIFY MICRO SECOND BEHIND WITH THE HELP OF HIS HEADSETS MAKING HIM STAND OUT AMONG OTHER PIANISTS IN THE WORLD.
He is the Philippines’ premier lounge pianist. He is a world class musician with the goal to inspire and entertain others through the piano. Indeed, he is "The Piano Man".
Going back, he started playing the piano at the age of 4 and played professionally at 13. Martin has a Bachelor of Music in Piano and Composition degree from the University of the Philippines College of Music, graduating in 1987. During college days at the U.P., Martin’s mentors included Ryan Cayabyab in Theory and Composition and Prof. Carolyn Kleiner Cheng in Piano whom Martin owes most of his piano playing techniques and interpretation.
Martin has 4 instrumental albums on CDs and cassettes under Ivory Records.
