Duo Corcova consists of Laura van de Woord (violin) and Jeroen Hobbel (guitar). The Duo was formed in 2002 through a common interest in classical music and world music. With these styles, they still perform in Portugal and abroad. In 2012 they produced their debut CD "Violino e Violão" in Lucas van Merwijk's Tam Tam Studio. Recorded by Sound Engineer and percussionist J C "Bulú" Viloria. In 2014 they recorded "Bacalhau" in the same studio and with the same Sound Engineer. This CD consists of Brazilian music as well. In the past years they were featured on National Dutch Radio 1 in the program "Vroege Vogels" a few times. Also they were played at the program "Brazilian Blend".
Besides giving concerts on several locations with different styles of music in for example churches, weddings, festivals, boats or castles they both work as music teachers. They think it is very important to teach music to the next generation.
